EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Haroon Shaikh has over 45 years of professional experience, specifically in financial reporting, technical accounting, tax planning, and business development. He currently serves as HRSS CPAs’ Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Prior to him establishing HRSS, Haroon gained invaluable experience working with two Big Four firms in Houston. He worked as a Senior Manager in the Assurance practice of KPMG and an Audit Manager at Deloitte. He brings an informed, broad and deep level of expertise to clients’ strategic and tactical issues and instills a client-focused approach at HRSS, always focusing on the client’s best interests.

For a significant portion of his career, he has provided auditing and accounting services to a diverse mix of public and privately held companies in a wide range of industries. Whether it be navigating mergers and acquisitions, offering proven negotiation skills, tapping capital resources, structuring ownership succession plans, or providing strategic and family wealth planning, Haroon has advised many small, medium, and large B2B businesses, with a niche focus on middle-market and privately held businesses in the U.S.

Haroon also works closely with not-for-profit organizations, including those that require audits under the following provisions:

• Audit guides for state and federal assistance programs

Outside of HRSS, Haroon is a leader on topics of business, innovation, inclusion and diversity, and eagerly shares his world-class expertise with others in his industry. He recognizes that sustainable success stems from discipline, integrity, and empowering others to thrive.

Being an active member of numerous industry associations, this allows him to stay abreast of any industry and regulatory changes.

Haroon loves to stay actively involved in his local Texas community, holding a variety of board seats and leadership roles in organizations in Houston and giving back whenever he can.
