1. Tax Associate
This is a full-time role for a tax accountant who is willing to learn and excited to work with great clients in Houston.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active pursuit of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.) is a plus
- Desire to continue to grow through continuing training
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- Ability and willingness to keep maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently

2. Audit Associate/ Senior Associate
We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Audit Associate or Senior Associate in our Houston office.
Responsibilities
- Ideal candidate is expected to perform all aspects of the audit with minimum supervision.
- Plan, organize and schedule engagements with clients to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Coordinate day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and reporting and communicate engagement status and issues with client and partners.
- Prepare financial statements with disclosures and validate, test and assess various control systems.
- Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess clients' satisfaction.
- Proactively maintain contact with the client throughout the year.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA Certification or demonstrated progress towards obtaining CPA certification
- Minimum 2-5 years of recent experience in a public accounting environment, auditing financial statements
- Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS; knowledge of IFRS standards and SEC preferred.
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to teamwork and leadership
