Our History
With a big idea, an entrepreneurial spirit, and lots of hard work, Haroon Shaikh originally founded the company (called H.R. Shaikh & Company at the time) in 1982. In 1993, he partnered with Farrukh Seyar. Over the years, the two of them continued adding high-level professionals to the team.
In 1999, the firm became H.R. Shaikh, Seyar, LLP. In 2011, it became what it is today: HRSS, LLP. Decades after its inception, HRSS remains committed to its core values. Today, it’s one of the fastest-growing accounting, advisory, tax, and auditing firms in Houston, TX. HRSS has also been listed as one of the top 25 CPA firms by Houston Business Journal for several years.
